I’m one of 120 volunteers who help to care for sick and injured koalas at the Koala Hospital Port Macquarie, NSW Australia. I’m not a vet, scientist, or animal specialist — just someone who can’t imagine Australia without koalas in it. You can help us help koalas by Adopting a Wild Koala!

A Wild Koala in Hamlyn Drive
This little old guy was holding up 'traffic' on Hamlyn Drive (actually he mostly was the traffic), before I shepherded him towards some trees at the top of the street.
Perhaps the residents in the first clip would like to plant some eucalypts on their nature strips, there are small hybrid eucalypts that have been developed to be used as street trees, and these would supply shelter whilst the koala is on her travels. What a clever girl, but sad, if a dog, etc, car comes flying by. thanks for showing us this. Eagleray
Nice to see you posting again, Sam. I knew that you had some other things going on; but it's wonderful to have new stories/pictures/videos from the Koala Hospital available.
